La Luna è una Lampadina—Exhibition Identity

Visual identity for the 50th anniversary exhibition of the Istituto Europeo di Design.

To celebrate its 50-year history, the Istituto Europeo di Design set up an exhibition at the Milan Triennale. During the three-week exhibition, live workshops were held with the Institute’s students on different areas of creativity, as well as an exhibition of archival materials, testimonials and the presentation of milestones in IED’s history. As 6ZERO5, we curated the visual identity of the exhibition and designed the graphic communication materials. The design of the exhibition was curated by The Buss.

The graphic design is inspired by the communication of news bulletins and newspaper headlines from the second half of the last century. A reminder of the dialogue between the most important cultural events of the century and those that marked the growth of IED during the same period. A journey through time between these dates, presented in the exhibition by an interactive timeline whose layout we designed.
